How much do you charge?

We work on an hourly rate of $30 per man hour includes GST.

What is a man hour?

A man hour is the hourly rate for 1 person to do 1 hours work. For example

1 person working for 1 hour will cost $30 
2 people working for 1 hour will cost $60
1 person working for 2 hours costs $60 etc

How do I pay?

Payment is either by cash or a cheque which our cleaners will collect on the day.

How long does it take for you to do the job?

It depends largely on the amount and type of work required. But generally it takes approximately 1-2 hours for 1 cleaner to clean a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house and 2-3 hours for a 3-4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house.

Can I get a quote so I know how much it will cost me before you start?

Yes. We are happy to assess your needs and give an obligation-free quote.

Do I need to be home while you are here?

It is not necessary for you to be home while our cleaners are present. We work with you to make suitable arrangements for our cleaners to have entry into your premises.

How do I know the cleaner entering my home is trustworthy?

Neat and Tidy Housekeeping is a small family owned and operated business. All our cleaners are either family members or known personally to us, we are therefore certain of their credentials. This gives us confidence that our business will not be compromised and our clients are in safe hands.

Do I need to supply any cleaning equipment or products?

No. Neat and Tidy Housekeeping is fully equipped to do the jobs we quote. All our cleaning products are effective, low fuming and environmentally safe.
